Madrid's "Real" newcomer Toni Kroos did not hide his joy at joining the UEFA Champions League winners and stated that it is a step forward in his career.
Yesterday, Munich's "Bayern" and "Real" finally reached an agreement on the acquisition of the 24-year-old German. He arrived in the Spanish capital for a sum of 30 million euros and signed a six-year contract.
"For me, Madrid's "Real" is the biggest club in the world, this is a step forward," said T. Kroos. "I wanted to join this team when I decided to leave "Bayern"."
"Of course, I talked to Sami Khedira about "Real" and he told me many positive things. I know the ambitions and goals of this club to win titles, so I am the right person," said the world champion.
Also, the Bayern academy product is not afraid of potential competition and insists that he can play in any position: "I believe I can play anywhere and it is not a difficult task for me."
Last season, the "Bayern" midfielder scored four goals in 51 appearances in the first team.
