The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has announced that Madrid's "Real" midfielder Toni Kroos has been named the best playmaker of the year.
The German national team midfielder received 110 votes in the elections, leaving Lionel Messi (108 votes) and James Rodriguez (53 votes) behind.
Since moving to "Real" last summer, T. Kroos has been playing confidently in his position and is the most accurate passer in the Spanish "Primera" championship.
Recently, the German team's teammate Cristiano Ronaldo also received IFFHS awards. "Real" was also recognized as the best club in the world.
This season, wearing the "white" jersey, T. Kroos has already made 12 assists.
