Bayern Munich club and German national team striker Thomas Muller hopes to win the "Golden Boot" at the World Cup in Brazil.
The German won the award for the most productive footballer in the 2010 championship in South Africa. Back then he scored 5 goals and made 3 assists. In the battle for the "Golden Boot" in the last championship, T. Muller left behind David Villa, Wesley Sneijder, and Diego Forlan.
"I'm thinking about how to defend the title of the most productive player. However, it's probably not the most realistic task. Nobody has done that so far, and great footballers always shine at the World Cup," he said.
"But I will give my all, trying to achieve this goal and maybe contribute to the team's success with a few precise shots," said the 24-year-old German.
The team coached by Joachim Low will compete in the group stage in Brazil against the players from Ghana, the USA, and Portugal.
