One of the leaders of Bayern Munich, Thomas Muller, jokingly stated that playing for the Bavarians is not like women's ballet.
The team represented by the German player secured another victory in the recent match, increasing their lead in the Bundesliga championship to 12 points from the closest pursuers.
"Playing for Bayern club is nothing like women's ballet," the forward joked to journalists. "Of course, I don't want to offend or be disrespectful to women's ballet."
"We deserved the victory against Freiburg and the 12-point lead we gained. Today we did our job, and the Bundesliga championship is one of the most important titles for us," added T. Muller.
Individually, the 25-year-old footballer has also had a great season - scoring 11 goals in 22 games played.
