Bayern Munich's star player Thomas Muller commented on former coach Josep Guardiola's career twists in England.
The Catalan-led Manchester City team currently occupies only fourth place in the Premier League, trailing leaders Chelsea by seven points.
According to the forward, such events were predictable.
"The Premier League is very strong - there are many strong teams playing there.
It is not easy to defeat each of them, and you also have to take into account the intense schedule," the German insisted.
"This is only Pep's first season with the Manchester City team and many factors make his task difficult.
Personally, I am not surprised that there are no clear favorites to win the title in this league."
