Tomorrow will start the quarterfinals of the Asian Championship.

Recently, the group stage of the Asian Championship taking place in Australia has ended. We present to you the results of the matches that have taken place and the pairs of quarterfinals. Interestingly, there were no draws throughout all the matches.

In Group A, the strongest team was South Korea, who won three matches with a score of 1-0. After Uli Stielike's team secured the second ticket to the next stage, the host Australia, Oman, and Kuwait advanced. The Australians defeated Kuwait 4-1 and Oman 4-0.

In Group B, China triumphed. The most populous country in the world defeated Saudi Arabia 1-0, Uzbekistan 2-1, and North Korea. Uzbekistan won over North Korea with a minimal score, while they beat the Arabs 3-1.

Tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Lithuanian time, the first quarterfinal match between South Korea and Uzbekistan will take place, at 12:30 p.m. the Chinese will face the Australians supported by their fans.

The winner of Group C is the Iranian team, who defeated Bahrain 2-0, Qatar 1-0, and the United Arab Emirates. The UAE team, with victories against Qatar 4-1 and Bahrain 2-1, finished second.

In Group D, Japan emerged as the favorite of the championship. The East Asian country crushed Palestine 4-0, defeated Iraq 2-0, and forced Jordan to surrender 1-0. Iraq followed behind Japan, winning 2-0 against Palestine and narrowly beating Jordan.

The other two quarterfinals will be played the day after tomorrow. At 8:30 a.m., Iran will meet Iraq, and at 11:30 a.m., Japan will face the UAE.
