On Saturday, two matches from the 25th round of the Italian league were played. "Torino" suffered a crushing defeat as guests of the "Chievo" club, while "Palermo" shared points with "Atalanta".

The "Torino" club suffered their sixth consecutive loss, losing 0-3 to "Chievo" as guests. After this embarrassing defeat, the situation of the Torino team's coach Alberto Zaccheroni in this club seems very unclear.

The first goal at the Bentegodi stadium was scored in the third minute. The home team's striker Erjon Bogdani was left completely free in the opponent's penalty area and, after receiving the ball, accurately sent it into the net from a distance.

Just before the end of the first half, the defense of "Torino" again fell asleep and Erjon Bogdani took advantage of it again. The Albanian striker accurately directed a distant pass from a teammate into the net with his head. The away defenders made no conclusions during halftime, and three minutes after the end of the second half, their team was already trailing by three goals. "Chievo" striker Victor Obinna broke through the right side of the field and his cross reached Matteo Brighi, who only had to send the ball into the net.

After 15 minutes, "Torino" was on the verge of losing a home game for the second time this season with a score of 0-4, as Ivan Franceschini touched the ball with his hand in the opponent's penalty area and the referee awarded a penalty kick to the hosts. However, Sergio Pellissier missed the penalty by shooting wide.

In other matches, "Palermo", who has recently struggled to collect points, played equally with "Atalanta" away with a score of 1-1.

In the first part of the match, "Atalanta" clearly dominated on the field and in the 13th minute, the Bergamo club took the lead. Riccardo Zampagna found himself unmarked in the opponent's penalty area and, after receiving a pass from his teammate Antonini Bernardini, sent the ball into the net.

However, the "Palermo" players did not give up and in the second half, managed to equalize the score. In the 58th minute, Fabio Simplicio passed the ball to Marco Pisano sprinting on the right side of the field, and he crossed the ball into the penalty area, where Aimo Diana defeated the opponents' goalkeeper with a precise shot.
