On Saturday night, seven more matches from the ninth round of the English Premier League were played.
London's crisis-ridden Tottenham team were close to another sensational defeat - only a mistake by Watford at the end of the match allowed Mauricio Pochettino's players to equalize 1-1.
Unable to come out of the slump, Tottenham's start to the game was like another nightmare - in the 6th minute after a great pass from Daryl Janmaat, Abdoulayre Doucoure directed the ball into the hosts' goal.
The struggling Tottenham team tried to recover from the huge shock, but they couldn't do it quickly.
In the 86th minute, Dele Alli saved them from an even more dismal outcome - he took advantage of the opponents' uncertain play in the penalty area and equalized the score.
Tottenham has only managed to win one game in their last few matches in all competitions. In the Premier League, they are currently in 7th place.
In other matches, London's Chelsea team secured a minimal victory over Newcastle after a tough battle.
Only one successful goal was scored by Marcos Alonso, defeating the opponents' goal in the 73rd minute.
Also, Leicester secured three points in a dramatic match against Burnley, moving up to third place on the league table.
Chris Wood put Burnley in the lead, but Jamie Vardy and Youri Tielemans responded for Leicester.
The remaining matches, which took place at 5 PM, ended in victory for Aston Villa and two draws.
In the last match of the night, Manchester City dealt with the resistance of London's Crystal Palace. Last round, City lost points to Wolves.
Gabriel Jesus and David Silva led City to victory. City climbed back to second place and temporarily reduced the gap to the leaders to five points.
