On Wednesday evening, the last two quarterfinal matches of the English League Cup were played.

In the other match for the final spot in the semifinals at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea fought against Bournemouth. The Blues secured their place in the semifinals after a tough battle.
Eden Hazard led Chelsea to victory with a single goal in the 84th minute.
