A few days ago, reports appeared in the foreign media that "Arsenal" had reached an agreement with "Saint-Etienne" team regarding the acquisition of defender William Saliba.
The "Gunners" were supposed to pay over 26 million pounds for the 18-year-old Frenchman and also loan the player back to "Saint-Etienne" for the season.
However, in the final moments, another London club decided to get involved in this story - "Tottenham," which also made an offer for W. Saliba, as reported by BBC journalist David Ornstein.
It is said that financially, the "Spurs" offer is almost identical to the one previously made by "Arsenal."
If both offers satisfy the "Saint-Etienne" team, then the final decision will rest with the player himself.
W. Saliba played 19 matches for a French team last season, but did not score any goals.
