"Tottenham" bids farewell to "White Hart Lane" stadium with a victory over "Man Utd" (VIDEO)

For the last time, "Tottenham" hosted "Manchester United" at the "White Hart Lane" stadium in London. The farewell to the legendary stadium was successful - Mauricio Pochettino's team defeated the "Red Devils" with a score of 2-1.

In the 6th minute, "Spurs" took the lead - after a great pass from Ben Davies, Victor Wanyama headed the ball past David De Gea.

Later, "Tottenham" continued their dangerous attacks in the opponents' half. Heung-Min Son and Christian Eriksen had great chances, but De Gea saved "Man Utd" from conceding another goal.

In the first half, "Man Utd" created almost no dangerous opportunities, but in the middle of the second half, the visitors from Manchester showed that they can not only defend but also create danger in front of the opponents' goal.

However, the beginning of the second half was unsuccessful for "Man Utd" - after Christian Eriksen's lifted ball, Harry Kane increased the hosts' lead to two goals.

Nevertheless, the "Red Devils" did not give up, and after missing two goals, they started to create dangerous attacks.

In the 71st minute, the visitors from Manchester managed to reduce the deficit when Wayne Rooney directed the ball into Hugo Lloris' goal after a precise pass from Anthony Martial.

Throughout the remaining time, "Tottenham" was under pressure, but "Man Utd" failed to score the equalizer.

After the victory, "Tottenham" secured the second place in the English Premier League, while "Man Utd" lost all chances to reach the top four this season.
