"Tottenham" captain doesn't believe in the team's chances to win the "Premier" league

London's "Tottenham" captain Hugo Lloris after losing to "Arsenal" footballers urged everyone to stay realistic and forget about dreams of the "Premier" League title.

Talks about Mauricio Pochettino's students moving forward emerged after their excellent performance in the UEFA Champions League, where Madrid's "Real" club was defeated twice.

However, after the failure in the North London derby, the "Spurs" dropped to fourth place in the English championship and are already 11 points behind the leader "Manchester City."

"Before thinking about 'City,' it is important to stay among the strongest four. That is our team's main goal," said Lloris.

"We heard from others that 'Tottenham' is fighting for the title and so on. The most important thing is to maintain consistency in the league," he added.

"We have been among the top four in the past two years and we must continue that, get the club used to this position, and try to gain more experience, as the team is still young and then at best reduce the gap," he continued.

"Of course, if we maintain the same attitude, the future of 'Tottenham' is bright. These are our ambitions - to progress step by step," Lloris emphasized.

"It is true that against 'Manchester United' and 'Arsenal' we wanted to perform better. However, we failed to do so, so now it is important to start a series of victories, as we must maintain our position at the top," he concluded.

In the table below, the "gunners" along with "Liverpool" and "Burnley" are just one point ahead of the "Tottenham" players.
