Great battle took place at the new Tottenham stadium in London. Mauricio Pochettino's players managed to secure a victory against the league debutants Aston Villa after intense competition.

In the 73rd minute, the hosts finally scored the equalizer - a brilliant and debut goal by Tottenham's most expensive purchase, Tanguy Ndombele.
The match time ticked on, and Spurs' attacks intensified. In the 86th minute, Jack Grealish made a fatal mistake, resulting in a penalty kick for Tottenham, which Harry Kane converted to take the hosts ahead.
Just four minutes later, H. Kane scored his second goal, and Tottenham celebrated a 3-1 victory.
