In London, "Tottenham" hosted another team from the same city - "Fulham". Mauricio Pochettino's players won after a tough battle with a score of 3:1.
Lucas Moura scored a great goal at the end of the first half to put "Spurs" in the lead, but in the second half Aleksandar Mitrovic equalized.
In the 74th minute, "Tottenham" regained the advantage when Kieran Trippier once again disappointed the away fans with a fantastic penalty kick.
The third goal into the "Fulham" goal was scored by Harry Kane in the 77th minute. For him, it was an unusual occurrence - H. Kane has never scored in the Premier League in August throughout his career.
In other matches, Liverpool's "Everton" also achieved victory. Goals from Theo Walcott and the in-form Richarlison secured the win against "Southampton".
