On Wednesday evening, the final participant of the FA Cup quarter-finals was determined in England.
Tottenham Hotspur hosted Southampton at the stadium, where the local London club faced off against Southampton. The "Saints" finally admitted defeat to Jose Mourinho's army with a score of 2:3.
The Spurs gained an advantage early in the match, but Southampton fought back - Shane Long equalized in the 34th minute, and Danny Ings turned the score around in the middle of the second half.
Just when it seemed like Tottenham had lost control of the match, Lucas Moura equalized in the 78th minute.
The visitors were harshly penalized in the 87th minute, when a penalty was awarded against them. Heung-min Son scored the penalty kick and secured victory for the Spurs, sending them to the next stage.
Tottenham will face Norwich in the quarter-finals.
