"Tottenham" defender draws inspiration from S. Ramos before CL final

Some see Sergio Ramos, the captain of Madrid's Real team, as a villain, while others see him as an example of a fighter.

Before the upcoming UEFA Champions League final match on Saturday, London's Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez revealed that he draws inspiration from videos of S. Ramos.

The Liverpool team, which will face Spurs in the final, does not have much sympathy for S. Ramos - in the eyes of the "reds", he is still guilty of Mohamed Salah's injury in the 2018 final in Kiev.

"I watched DVD footage with Ramos. The way he defends is something incredible," Sanchez told the English media. "He has the right character traits to play in that position."

"The most important thing in the final is to win. You cannot watch your opponent and allow them to be better than you or give them the opportunity to play their football. We need to be aggressive. That's what the final is for. Each of us wants to win this trophy.

If you need to destroy your opponent, you must do it. You can't care about other things. In football, there are not always situations where you take the ball and play skillfully. If I need to clear the ball away from my goal and there is an opponent nearby, I'm sorry for him," the Colombian said.
