Everton broke through in the 41st minute, with Aaron Lennon scoring after a precise pass from James McCarthy. However, in the 69th minute, a penalty was awarded to the visitors, which was converted by Jonjo Shelvey.

With 47 points, Swansea remains in 8th place, while Everton, with 38 points, sits in 12th position.

In other matches, Tottenham suffered a narrow defeat to Aston Villa. The only goal of the match was scored by Christian Benteke in the 35th minute.

Wins were also earned by Southampton, Leicester, and Crystal Palace. Palace's Yannick Bolasie stood out with a hat-trick.

In the evening match, 19th-placed Burnley hosted Arsenal from London. The Gunners, considered favorites, secured a hard-fought victory by the minimum margin. The winning goal was scored by Aaron Ramsey from the penalty spot.

After the 32nd round, the capital team remains in second place in the championship. At least until tomorrow, Arsenal is 4 points behind the leaders Chelsea, but Chelsea has played two fewer matches.
