Cristian Romero will not help the Tottenham team this year. At a press conference, Tottenham manager A. Conte confirmed that the Argentine suffered a serious injury and will only return to the field next year. When asked when the center-back could return to the field, Conte said: "Next year. January or summer. I don't know, but what's clear is that he won't play this month in 2021." It was later confirmed that C. Romero suffered a high-grade calf muscle strain. Another Tottenham Argentine, Giovani Lo Celso, should return to the lineup in the near future. The attacking midfielder also suffered an injury while on international duty with the Argentina national team.
