25-year-old Brazilian footballer Alexandre Pato is not sure about his future in his homeland and may return to Europe.
Recently, there have been rumors in the media that the former AC Milan striker has attracted interest from London's Tottenham Hotspur club. Pato himself is not aware of this club's interest and denies any reports.
The player's rights belong to the Corinthians team, but at the moment Pato is playing on loan for Sao Paulo, where he has scored 33 goals in 81 matches.
"I don't know what awaits me," - the Brazilian said to the Daily Mirror on Saturday after a victory. "I don't know if it was my last match for Sao Paulo. I will talk to my agent about it."
"I would like to stay here, but it doesn't depend on me. I wouldn't want to leave this club like this, we need to sit down and talk about the future," - said the striker about his desire to stay with the team.
Finally, Pato was asked about Tottenham's interest, but he couldn't say anything concrete: "For now, I don't know anything."
