On Monday evening, the last match of the 11th round of the English Premier League took place.
Supported by their fans at the "White Hart Lane" stadium, London's Tottenham team clashed with Aston Villa. Mauricio Pochettino's team defeated the visitors with a score of 3-1.
Spurs took the lead in the third minute of the match, with Moussa Dembele scoring after receiving a pass and beating Brad Guzan. At the end of the first half, the hosts managed to score another goal, this time by Dele Alli.
At the end of the match, in the 79th minute, Jordan Ayew managed to reduce the deficit, but in the 90th minute Harry Kane sealed the deal in this match.
This is Tottenham's fifth victory. With 20 points, the North London team is in fifth place and has reduced the gap to the leaders to five points. Aston Villa remains at the bottom of the table.
