In recent months, there have been links with big foreign clubs regarding Tottenham's midfielder Christian Eriksen, but he may still stay in England.
As reported by the website "Goal", the London team has started to believe more and more that they will be able to sign a new contract with the 27-year-old Dane.
The current contract with Ch. Eriksen expires after the next season and so far the negotiations have not been fruitful.
However, according to the press, Tottenham's plans to at least double the current £75,000-per-week contract could entice the player.
If the negotiations were successful, the Premier League team could rejoice in keeping another important player - a contract of six years was signed with forward Dele Alli last October.
