London's "Tottenham" will finally have new home. The club officially announced on Sunday that the first match in the renovated home stadium will take place on April 3, when they will host the "Crystal Palace" team. In the new stadium, "Spurs" will also play their UEFA Champions League quarter-final match against "Manchester City" on April 9. Please note that "Tottenham" was supposed to move to their new stadium at the beginning of this season, but due to safety concerns, the opening was repeatedly delayed. Most of the club's fans and football experts were convinced that the North London club would only move to their new home stadium at the beginning of the next season. The new "Tottenham" home stadium will have a capacity of just over 62,000 spectators.
We can confirm that the first @premierleague match in our new stadium will be against Crystal Palace on Wednesday 3 April. #SpursNewStadium ⚪ #COYS — Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) March 17, 2019
