The biggest German newspaper "Bild" announces that London's "Tottenham" will try to acquire Schalke's defender Max Meyer on the last day of the transfer window.
"Spurs" manager Mauricio Pochettino still wants to have more players in his team, and the 20-year-old seems like a suitable addition.
The capital club is even willing to release £38 million for him - this would make Meyer the most expensive "Tottenham" purchase of all time.
The German national team member would surpass the club's forward Erik Lamela in this position.
