Traditional Christmas Family Football Tournament will be held for the 17th time in Ukmergė region.

For the eighteenth time, football enthusiasts will await the Christmas Family Tournament organized by the Lithuanian Women's Football Association, taking place in Ukmergė and Šventupė.

The matches will take place on December 23 at the Ukmergė stadium base and the Šventupė sports complex. Families related by kinship ties can participate in the tournament: parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, stepbrothers, stepsisters, and other family members.

During the match, there must be at least one female representative on the field. The matches will be played 5 against 5 according to the rules of indoor football, using futsal balls.

All interested participants are invited to contact the tournament organizers - head referee Darius Petraška (tel. 867609258) or head secretary Migle Ivanauskiene (tel. 868475140).

Teams that win 1-3 places will be awarded with trophies and prizes established by LMFA, and players will receive medals. The winning teams will also receive prizes established by the main tournament sponsor "Hummel" - sets of sports clothing. Individual prizes will be awarded to the best players of the tournament.

The main sponsors of the tournament are the Lithuanian Women's Football Association, "Hummel", Ukmergė district municipality, and the Lithuanian sports association "Žalgiris".
