Tragedy at Juodkalnis: Goalkeeper shot during training

Former goalkeeper Goran Lenac, who once played in the highest division in Montenegro, faced a huge tragedy - he was shot and killed while training with a friend.

The incident happened yesterday at 7:30 p.m. local time.

The 33-year-old veteran was attacked by a bullet flying towards his head while working out at the "Bokelj" training base. Lenac was taken to the hospital, but there was no chance of survival.

Lenac represented "Bokelj" in 2015, so he was allowed to maintain his fitness using the club's infrastructure.

Lenac was indeed a popular figure - former teammates and people who knew him revealed that he was a very dedicated athlete and always helped aspiring footballers.

The police blocked off the entire city of Kotor in search of the killer.

A local news portal, skalaradio.com, claimed that the criminal must have been familiar with the surroundings, as he was able to escape quickly in the darkness.
