On Monday, a tragically ending incident occurred at the Africa Cup of Nations tournament taking place in Cameroon. According to the BBC, there was a crush outside the stadium before the match between Cameroon and the Comoros Islands, which resulted in at least eight deaths. It is reported that around 50,000 people tried to enter the stadium at the same time, leading to a massive chaos. People not only pushed each other but also trampled on those who had fallen. To make matters worse, at least 38 people were injured, with seven of them in critical condition. According to AFP, among the eight deceased individuals, at least one was a child.
