Tragic E. Salos family history: father who buried his sons three months ago died.

Emiliano Sala's family, who tragically lost their Argentine footballer son in a plane crash, was shocked by another painful loss on Friday, reports lrytas.lt.

Just three months after the son's plane crash, the athlete's father, Horacio Sala, died of a heart attack. The Argentine media reported that the 58-year-old man died at home, and when the medics arrived at the scene, they could not do anything to help.

"Horacio could not come to terms with the death of his son. We thought he would feel relieved after the footballer's body was found," said Julio Muller, the mayor of H. Sala's hometown, to "La Red" radio show.

The forward, who signed a record deal with Cardiff City on January 19, returned to Nantes to collect personal items and bid farewell to his friends and club staff from the French team. However, he never reached the Welsh capital and did not start playing in the Premier League.

On January 21, E. Sala flew by plane "Piper PA-46 Malibu" from the French city of Nantes to Cardiff.

The aircraft disappeared from radar screens about 20 km north of the Guernsey island. After the initial search efforts proved futile, Sala's relatives hired a private company to continue the search, which a week later found the wreckage of the plane and the footballer's body at the bottom of the ocean.
