Training among candidates to train the "Swansea City" team - and the name of R. Giggs © JumpStory

After dismissing Garry Monk, the "Swansea City" team started intensive searches for a new coach. Recently, it has been reported that the club would like to talk to "Manchester United" assistant coach Ryan Giggs about whether he would like to leave his current team and start working as the head coach at another club.

According to Independent, the "Swans" hope to hear that Giggs would like to exchange the position of second coach at "Old Trafford" stadium for the head coach position in the Welsh team. Samuel Luckhurst from Manchester Evening News revealed that if an offer is made, he could indeed become the coach of "Swansea".

A former representative of the Welsh national team, Giggs spent his entire playing career in the "Red Devils" team, and began working as a coach there in 2013, in David Moyes' assistant staff.

According to Independent, Giggs may want to stay in the "United" team because the position of head coach Louis van Gaal is not secure there, and after the dismissal of the current coach, it is likely that the legendary team player would also be considered as a candidate to take over the reins at "Manchester United".

So far, Giggs has had no connections with the "Swansea" team, and the fans are concerned that he has not yet worked as head coach. However, 64 matches played for the Welsh national team should be enough for fans to accept him positively if the team management agrees with Giggs on the position of head coach.
