"Trakai" said goodbye to A. Klimavicius

For two years Arūnas Klimavičius, who has won silver and bronze medals in "Trakai", is leaving the team. This decision was made by mutual agreement.

"I can only be grateful that I had the opportunity to be in "Trakai" for two years. Although we did not manage to win the A League, the euphoria in the Europa League qualifying round compensates for everything. I wish the team to continue on their chosen path next year, and I will continue on my own. I will not say anything new, club changes in a footballer's life are a normal thing," said the 35-year-old veteran, who was chosen as the team's captain this year.

This year, A.Klimavičius scored 5 goals in the A League, three of which were penalties from 11 meters. The most impressive goal was scored by the captain in the 29th round, when the coach sent him to attack in a match against "Jonava", and he scored the winning goal with a header in added time. Arūnas once again made the crowd cheer, accurately starting a series of winning penalties with the "Norrkoping" club.

The club thanks the player for his dedication, exemplary work with the youth, and wishes him success in the future.
