The English media reported that negotiations between the "Barcelona" and "Liverpool" clubs for the transfer of striker Luis Suarez to the Catalan team may end already this weekend.
The team led by Brendan Rodgers wants to receive 80 million pounds sterling for the Uruguayan national team striker, while Barcelona club offers 60 million pounds sterling. It is predicted that a compromise will be reached this weekend and L. Suarez will put on the "blaugrana" jersey.
The transfer fee is the only obstacle in L. Suarez's way to Spain. The footballer has fulfilled the Catalan club's request and publicly apologized to Giorgio Chiellini for the incident, when the striker bit the Italian during a World Cup group stage match.
FIFA announced that the Uruguayan would be allowed to undergo a medical examination, despite a four-month suspension. In addition, sanctions for L. Suarez have been lifted and the footballer will be able to train during his suspension period.
