TransINVEST club once again crushed Džiugas

At the start of the 28th round of the "TOPsport A League", Telšiai's "Džiugas" suffered a crushing defeat at home. Just like last time, this time the Vilnius district team "TransINVEST" defeated the Telšiai players with a score of 3:0 (2:0).

In the 25th minute, the guests made a mistake, with Christian Bella taking possession of the ball and rushing towards the goal, but he lacked accuracy. Shortly thereafter, a mistake occurred on the other side of the barricades – Miroslavas Puškarovas and Marius Paukštė miscommunicated near their own goal, which was capitalized on by Henrique Devensas, who put his team ahead.

In the 33rd minute, the score was doubled by the completely free Ernestas Stočkūnas, who sent the ball into the net after a rebound from Artem Radčenko's shot. After an hour of play, H. Devensas scored a double, rushing towards the goal alone after a good pass from Pires Carvalho and converting his chance.

In the 72nd minute, Hirotaka Yamada made a pass into the penalty area, and Meinardas Mikulėnas, who had the opportunity to score, missed the ball. A little later, Tomas Dombrauskis attempted to find his teammate near the goal, but ended up shaking the goalpost instead.

As the match approached its end, Bacary Sane and Dominykas Kubilinskas shot from a distance, but one of the shots was dealt with by Stefanas Čupičius, while the next one flew past the rectangle. In the final moments, goalkeeper Ibrahim Cisse parried a header, and Leifo Estevezo's attempt was not on target.

After the 28th round matches, the "TransINVEST" players stand in 8th place in the tournament table with 26 points, while "Džiugas" ranks fifth with 32 points.
