TransINVEST" defeated Marijampolė's "Sūduva

The 15th round of the "TOPsport A lyga" started in Marijampolė, where the local team hosted "TransINVEST" from Vilnius region. The goal scored by Henrique Devenso in the first half was decisive - the visitors won with a result of 1:0 (1:0).

In the first half, the residents of Marijampolė dangerously attacked after raised corner kicks - a header by Stevas Lawson shook the crossbar, an acrobatic attempt by Ivan Zotko flew over the goal, and a shot by Motiejus Burba towards the goal missed the near post a little later.

In the 39th minute, the visitors took the lead when Henrique Devens sent the ball into the net from close range after a good pass from Misaki Sato.

In the 62nd minute, the score could have doubled, but Giedrius Zenkevičius impressively stopped the attempt by Ryunosuke Ohori after a pass from Ernestas Stočkus. A few minutes later, Ernestas Burdzilauskas responded with a long-range shot above the goal.

R. Ohori threatened the opponents' goal in the 69th minute, but once again G. Zenkevičius played confidently. In the 76th minute, the home team's chances decreased even more, as Linas Zingertas received his second yellow card and left his team to play with a numerical disadvantage. In the 87th minute, Artūras Žulpa found himself in front of the goal and could have scored, however, the goalkeeper saved the shot.

After the 15th round of the "TOPsport A lyga," the "TransINVEST" club, at least temporarily, rose to the 9th position in the tournament table with 13 points, while "Sūduva" has gathered 16 points and is now seventh.
