The 19th round of the "TOPsport A Lyga" started in Širvintos, where Vilnius district "TransINVEST" welcomed Telšiai's "Džiuga" in front of their own fans. From the first minutes, the dominant hosts did not spare the guests, whom they defeated with a score of 3:0 (2:0).
The players in yellow pushed forward as early as the 11th minute - Henrique Devensas, who scored for the second consecutive match, defeated Ivan Baturin. The Brazilian posed a threat in the 19th minute as well when he headed in after a pass from Ernesto Stočkūnas, however, he was hindered by Sergėjus Kulynyčius, and a little later I. Baturin defended against E. Stočkūnas' attempt.
After playing just under half an hour, Misaki Sato, who broke through on the left flank, took a shot towards the far corner, but the ball rolled past the goal post. Ryonosuke Ohori doubled the result, receiving the ball from Aleksandras Levšinas in the 43rd minute and sending it into the goal.
The beginning of the second half turned into an even bigger nightmare for the guests - I. Baturin failed to catch the ball in the penalty area, and M. Sato sent the ball into the goal. In the 82nd minute, Nino Noordanus, who received a long pass, could have scored, but was blocked by the well-played goalkeeper, and at the end of the half, I. Baturin blocked Yoichi Kawachi's attempt.
After the victory in the 19th round of the "TOPsport A Lyga," "TransINVEST" occupies the 9th position with 19 points and is approaching the teams higher up, while "Džiugas" ranks third and has collected 26 points.
