Football teams and their fans can soon get used to the new offside rule.
The IFAB organization announced that they have successfully completed long trials.
If the changes are approved, then offside would only be recorded when the attacking player's entire body is ahead of their opponent.
Otherwise, the game would continue.
IFAB states that these changes will bring more intrigue and excitement to football.
The offside rule was decided to be reviewed when, due to the very precise treatment of VAR, sometimes bizarre situations occurred in matches.
🚨 IFAB has approved new tests for another type of offside! 😳
