Rome's "Lazio" fans can now pull the champagne bottle out from under the table - the club announced that the signatures on the new contracts were put by two brightest stars of the team: Ciro Immobile and Sergej Milinković-Savić.
Both footballers committed to the club until 2023. Last season's top scorer in the league C. Immobile will earn 3.2 million euros per season, promising Serbian - 3 million euros.
It should be noted that Milinković-Savić's contract will not include a buyout clause. Several famous European clubs were already interested in the Serbian this summer, so now "Lazio" is in control.
C. Immobile joined "Lazio" in 2016 and immediately became the team's offensive star. In 96 matches, he has scored 72 goals.
On the other hand, Milinković-Savić joined the team in 2015. Playing in a center defensive midfielder position, the Serbian has already appeared 128 times and scored 26 goals wearing "Lazio" jersey.
