The goalkeeper of the Czech national team and Dortmund club, Tomas Rosicky, confirmed that he is actively interested in an average club in the English Premier League. The Czech himself seems to be inclined to leave the financially troubled German club as well.
A few years ago, one of the most powerful German clubs, Borussia, now has huge debts that prevent the team from returning to the elite of European clubs. Precisely because of these problems, it is believed that not only T. Rosicky, but also several other leaders of the club may be sold to other teams.
“Both my agent and Borussia managers confirmed to me that negotiations with Tottenham are ongoing, but an agreement has not yet been reached,” the footballer said. “I know that the main problem is the price. Borussia clearly asks for too much.”
“For some time now, rumors have been circulating that I could be sold to this or that other club, but all negotiations fail because no club is willing to pay the requested transfer fee. They need to lower the price if they want to sell me.” Unofficially, it is said that Borussia's requested sum could be around 10 million pounds.
T. Rosicky, who was previously interested by top European clubs like [club names], may face obstacles in moving to Spurs because the English club does not participate in any European club tournaments. Such circumstances may attract the attention of even more powerful clubs.
