Germany can rightfully be called the homeland of football. This country not only stands out with good results in international tournaments, but also can boast a very extensive infrastructure of this sports branch. It has been calculated that in the last season, there were 16,819 professional and amateur teams registered in Germany. If we were to look at the map of the country, it would be simply covered with teams, with only a few less recorded in East Germany.
