Turkey entered the knockout stage of the European Championship after 16 years.

In the decisive match of Group F, Turkey defeated the Czech Republic 2:1 after a tough battle.

Czech Republic complicated their situation at the beginning of the match. Antonin Barak received his second yellow card in the 20th minute, leaving the Czechs with a man down.

In the 51st minute, Hakan Calhanoglu led Turkey ahead with a beautiful shot.

Within 15 minutes, Czech Republic's chances revived again as Tomas Soucek scored a goal.

At the end of the match, Czechs lacked strength for a crucial push, and on the other side of the field, Turkey secured the victory in the knockout stages with a goal from Cenk Tosun.

After the match, players got involved in a conflict. Forward Tomas Chory received a red card, while three other players were shown yellow cards.

Turkey will face Austria in the quarterfinals.
