The most visited football news portal in the country, "EuroFootball.com," continues the article series "Let's Turn Back Time." Every Thursday, individual player performances engraved in football history are presented. Already released episodes: Part I: legendary Z. Zidane's matches at the World Cup (link) Part II: Ronaldo's "hat-trick" bid farewell with ovations at "Old Trafford" stadium (link) Part III: Ronaldinho's performance at "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium leaving no one indifferent (link) Just over 13 years ago, another football legend left his mark on "Old Trafford" stadium. Brazilian Kaka, arriving in Manchester with the AC Milan team, proved that he was considered the best footballer on the planet at that time. Kaka has had numerous remarkable performances throughout his career, but two matches against Manchester United, where a place in the UEFA Champions League final was at stake, have left a particularly strong impression in football history. In April of 2007, the "Milan" footballers who arrived at "Old Trafford" stadium lost with a score of 2:3. However, Kaka's show left a greater impact than the victory of the "Manchester United" team, which, as it later turned out, did not prevent "Milan" from achieving its goals. The match began with a quick goal by Cristiano Ronaldo, but Kaka, after Clarence Seedorf's pass, scored a brilliant goal from an acute angle, restoring the tie 1:1. Kaka's performance in the first half did not end there - in the 37th minute, he scored the second goal, which remains stuck in the minds of football fans until today. Kaka managed to get past three opponents in the "Man Utd" penalty area and beat the goalkeeper with a left foot strike. In the second half, another young talent, Wayne Rooney, started to show his skill - his two strikes into Dida's goal gifted victory to the "Man Utd" team. After the match, it was difficult for the "Milan" team players to come to terms with such a defeat, but, as Kaka himself said, the "San Siro" stadium will be ready to offer a gift to the guests from England. "We were surprised by the 'Man Utd' game in the second half. The second leg will be truly intriguing. We will enter the 'San Siro' stadium with a goal to kill and win at any cost," Kaka said after the match in Manchester. The plan of the "Milan" players to "kill" their opponents in the return match worked - the "rossoneri" triumphed with a crushing 3:0 result in front of their spectators and paved their way to the final, where they faced the "Liverpool" team and became champions of the Old Continent for the 7th time in history.

In the second match against 'Man Utd,' Kaka also played a significant role - his goal in the 11th minute put the hosts in the lead, later joined by C. Seedorf and Alberto Gilardino. Kaka, who scored a hat-trick over two matches against 'Man Utd' in the 2007 Champions League trophy, did not stop there - in December, he received the last 'Ballon d'Or' award before the era of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
