London's "Arsenal" player Theo Walcott insisted that acquiring Mesut Ozil has made the "Gunners" serious contenders for the title of Premier League champions.
"This definitely shows that we are ready to take a step forward. The start of the season was disappointing, but we have recovered and now we are playing fantastically," the Englishman said.
"And Ozil's addition will give everyone just an extra boost," Walcott added without hiding his ambitions.
The German, who cost 47 million euros, became Arsenal's record purchase, and the team also strengthened during the offseason with Yaya Sanogo, Mathieu Flamini, and Emiliano Viviano.
