On Thursday evening, the postponed 21st round of matches in the English Premier League took place.
The match between Tottenham and West Ham clubs was held at Wembley stadium. Two magnificent long-range shots crowned the tie in this encounter.
Mauricio Pochettino's players had the upper hand from the start of the match. Spurs played much more assured with the ball and created dangerous attacks.
However, despite Tottenham taking a total of 31 shots on goal throughout the match, it was West Ham who broke the deadlock in the 70th minute.
Pedro Obiang scored an impressive shot from about 35 yards out, hitting the top corner of the opponent's goal - Hugo Lloris was helpless in that situation, and West Ham unexpectedly took the lead with their first shot on goal.
Feeling aggrieved, Tottenham responded in the 84th minute - this time Son Heung-Min unleashed a rocket from a little closer.
The result was level, but Tottenham was not willing to settle for that. Spurs pressed their opponents and had many shots on goal, but West Ham's defense held firm and the match ended in a draw.
Tottenham remains in fifth place after the draw, while West Ham, unbeaten in their last three matches, sits in 15th place with 22 points.
Result:
Tottenham 1 - 1 West Ham
70' [0 - 1] P. Obiang
84' [1 - 1] H-M. Son
