On the second day of Christmas in the English Premier League, at least two of the planned matches will not take place. On Thursday, it was officially announced that the matches between "Liverpool" and "Leeds" as well as "Wolves" and "Watford" will not happen due to coronavirus outbreaks. Both of these matches were supposed to kick off the Premier League program on the festive day. According to Sky Sports, Leeds has already suspended training sessions due to a rise in COVID-19 cases, while Watford still does not have enough healthy first-team players.
