"Paris Saint-Germain" coach Unai Emery shared his thoughts on the recent draw for the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals at a press conference.
The French vice-champions finished first in Group B, but face a tough challenge in the knockout stage - Parisians will go up against Madrid's "Real."
The "Royal" club has won the strongest European tournament for the past two seasons, and even though they have been struggling lately, they should not be underestimated.
"I am happy," Emery said. "We want to play the biggest possible matches. Two title contenders will face off, and football fans around the world want to see such games. We want matches of this caliber."
"Real" has won the last two Champions League titles. They have a huge history. Our team is ready. We will show that we are on the same level as teams capable of winning the tournament.
"If it's "Real," let it be "Real." Zinedine Zidane? He had an impressive career as a player, and now he is doing the same as a coach. He is the best strategist that "Real" could have right now.
The clash between PSG and the Spanish champions will be seen in the middle of February.
