London's "Arsenal" defeated the "Southampton" team on Sunday and at least for now returned to fourth place in the tournament table.
"Gunners" coach Unai Emery assured that the team is moving step by step and will continue to do so until the end of the season.
"We are moving step by step, match by match. Today we are happy, but we need to prepare for Wednesday's match," the Spaniard said after the victory.
The coach was also asked if it was disappointing that the team couldn't win by a bigger margin and improve the goal difference, which could be crucial in the fight for a place in next season's UEFA Champions League.
"Today, we created opportunities and could have won by a bigger margin. We need to maintain the same intensity on the field for the full 90 minutes.
Lacazette deserved more goals today, Aubameyang had a couple of chances when he was on the pitch. I would have problems if we couldn't create chances," Emery said.
"Arsenal" will face "Bournemouth" in the next "Premier" league match on Wednesday.
