U. Emery on G. Xhaka's behavior: "He was wrong"

London's "Arsenal" fans showed dissatisfaction with their captain in Sunday's match against "Crystal Palace".

Having started the game well, the "Gunners" conceded in the second half and settled for a 2-2 draw. In the 61st minute, Granit Xhaka, who gave way to a younger colleague on the field, received a not very pleasant reaction from the fans at the "Emirates" stadium.

When it was heard in the stadium that G. Xhaka would be substituted, "Arsenal" fans started booing and showing dissatisfaction with the Swiss player's performance, while the player himself responded to the fans' reaction with various hand gestures.

Immediately after being substituted, G. Xhaka took off his "Arsenal" shirt and headed to the locker room, even though there was still more than half an hour left until the end of the match.

Unai Emery was not satisfied with the player's behavior.

"He was wrong," - commented the coach on G. Xhaka's conflict with the fans. - "We will definitely have a conversation with him. First of all, I want to hear his opinion and then try to calm him down."

Arsenal fans were wrong for booing him off. Xhaka was wrong for reacting in the way he did. Everyone was wrong, simple.
