U. Emery: PSG still not giving up

Although PSG's hopes of defending the "Ligue 1" title are very slim, coach Unai Emery believes in it. Paris Saint-Germain lost 1-3 to the "Nice" club, when Thiago Motta and Angel Di Maria were sent off for rough fouls, and after the defeat PSG players fell to second place in the league table.

The "Monaco" club is leading by three points and has played one game less than the Parisian club, and PSG's hopes of fighting for a fifth consecutive title are now only theoretical. Despite all the unfavorable results, Emery promised that the team will fight until it becomes mathematically impossible to rise to the first place.

"We lost a good chance. It's a very bad result for us, because we lost very important points, but as long as we have a chance to fight for the title, we will do it," Emery said.

However, PSG also has to consider that the "Nice" club is only three points behind them, and Parisians could even drop to third place. Emery stated: "We are only three points ahead of the 'Nice' club. We will fight for the first place and try to secure the second," Emery added.
