Munich's "Bayern" team president Uli Hoeness has seen Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar up close multiple times. This season, PSG and "Bayern" met twice in the Champions League.
Even though PSG paid 222 million euros for the Brazilian, U. Hoeness did not hesitate to speak his mind and said that Neymar doesn't even look that good.
"We couldn't invest 222 million euros in Neymar, who doesn't even look that good to me. We couldn't spend that kind of money. We couldn't even invest 180 million for Kylian Mbappe, who in my opinion, is really good," - said the Bavarian club president.
U. Hoeness confirmed that "Bayern" signings will not be as expensive, but fans can rest assured - the club continues to prepare to invest in football stars.
"I think there will be signings for 50, 60 or 70 million. We want to have both top stars and young players in the team. We need to find our place in this shark tank, among those 100 or 200 million signings. We want to be at the top, but not at any cost.
Like in the last 20 or 30 years, we have to live according to our philosophy. We can't copy Real Madrid, Manchester City or PSG," - said U. Hoeness.
