The Lithuanian U16 boys' national team played its first of two scheduled matches against their counterparts from this country in France.

Andrius Velicka's pupils lost the first match to the opponents with a score of 2:3 (1:0). The second match between the teams will be played on Friday, starting at 12 o'clock Lithuanian time.

In Wednesday's match, the Lithuanian team scored the first goal when Grant Emerhi scored at the beginning of the first half. The Lithuanians successfully defended their lead for the rest of the time and went into the break with a one-goal advantage.

After the break, our players continued to resist the opponents and remained in the lead for over an hour, but then the French managed to equalize the score.

However, it didn't take long for the Lithuanians to take the lead again with Dovas Grudzinskas scoring another goal soon after.

But the French were not willing to accept this outcome, quickly equalizing the score and scoring a third goal during added time to secure victory in the first match.
