The Lithuanian U17 national team played their second match on Saturday in the European Championship qualification mini-tournament taking place in Georgia.

In the second match, the Lithuanians lost to the Austrian team 0:1 (0:0) in the last minutes of the game. It is worth noting that in the first match, the Lithuanians lost 1:4 to Denmark, and the tournament will end on Tuesday with a meeting against the host team Georgia.

In the Saturday match, the action was almost equal throughout the game - both teams had similar shots towards goal and into the goal area, but no goals were scored.

With about 10 minutes left to play, the Austrian national team had the opportunity to take a penalty shot, but they failed to convert it.

Just when it seemed like the match would end in a draw, in the first added minute of extra time, the seventeen-year-old Austrians managed to score the only goal and secure an important victory.
