On Monday evening, the last two matches of the 11th round of the Italian championship were played.
An intense confrontation took place between the teams of "Udinese" and "Torino", who shared a point. Here the visitors from Turin led for a long time after Marco Benassi's goal, but an hour into the game, Cyril Thereau equalized the score, and shortly after, Duvan Zapata scored again.
However, another goal was not long in coming, and in the 77th minute, Adem Ljajic scored an impressive goal to make it 2-2. As it turned out later, this strike was decisive, allowing Torino to secure a point and stay in seventh place. Meanwhile, Udinese moves to the 13th position.
In other matches, the newly promoted Cagliari secured a victory in Serie A by defeating Palermo with a double by Daniele Dessena. Ilija Nestorovski also scored for Palermo, but it was not enough for his team.
The Cagliari team climbed to ninth place, while their opponents are just above the relegation zone.
